  3.        both, you will probably want to use it as it is generally
  4.        considered to be superior to the others. The next in order of
  5.        preference is Ymodem, with Xmodem being least desirable but
  6.        almost always available. When you wish to either upload or
  7.        download a file, you must tell both the BBS and your terminal
  8.        program that you want to do so, and then enter the protocol
  9.        and filename to transfer.
